To Get Here......
Don't look for signs - we don't have any, but what we do, is fly a flag with a sea lion and dolphin print at the front of the office on the beach which can be seen as you drive in from the beginning of the village. This is the point you will need to get to for tour departure.
Once you arrive in Baird Bay, the first place you will come to is the Baird Bay campground and lookout which is on the left just before you drive in to the village, keep going past the first line of beach houses that are on your left, beach on the right, you will come to a public phonebox. Opposite the phonebox to your right is an access drive into a small carpark where you can leave your vehicle or you can drive down on to the beach, turn left, and drive on up the beach to the flag, about 9 houses down - we are the last place going up the beach in Baird Bay. There is safe car parking in front of the Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience reception building on the beach
Beach access is quite okay for a conventional vehicles, with or without a caravan, campervans, mobile homes and 4 wheel drives.
There is "no parking" for tour passengers at the back of the reception building - this carpark is reserved for accommodation clients only. All tour passengers are requested to enter from the beachfront of the reception centre.
To find Baird Bay and Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience by map from wherever you may be coming from is easy, all you need to do is go to www.google.com/earth type in Baird Bay South Australia in search and Google Earth will then bring you directly to us from any place in the world.
